You might want to update your NVidia driver to 511.23. Have you tried manually customizing your gpu fan controls via Afterburner. Light GPU overclock with FH4 running in the background. Just being lazy to turn AC back on.hehehe And my ambient(room temp) is currently 28degC(per my room thermostat). Hey stranger, btw thank you for the assistance. As you can see (ambient currently 20.2) I still go up to 80c without a heartbeat. I removed the sidepanel, put the computer on the desk to see if its an airflow problem. The nvidia driver update did help in that the gpu in forza's "monitoring" does not blink up to 100% but stays 94-95% but the temp is still 80c and fan is up to 90%. #3440x1440p forza horizon 4 backgrounds update# Here is my fan curve.ĭo I have a bad GPU, should I need to re-thermal paste it? or is forza just demanding? I am very confused. #3440x1440p forza horizon 4 backgrounds update#.Some people love 32" and some people can't stand them. It's personal enough for each person that a catch-all recommendation wouldn't apply. If they end up taking up a similar percentage of your field of view, then the apparent resolution will be similar as well. For large screens, as you move up in size you tend to move them further backwards.

Dividing the ultrawide in half gives you two full screens without it narrowing the content area of webpages or w/e you're doing.Īs for 32" 16:9, I personally feel that it depends on your view distance. Since a normal 16:9 ratio is too wide and has a lot of empty space on the left and right sides. Split screen feels like you have two full sized screens. It's the same pixel density as a 27" 1440. The OP is talking about 34" though, not 32". There is a noticeable quality/sharpness difference between a 27" 1440p and a 32". Quality, as in resolution? A 32" 1440p is the same pixel density as a 24" 1080p. As for 32:9, it's too much width and not enough height for games, like looking at things through a medieval visored helm or letterbox (though being two 1440p side by side, amazing for work etc) for primarily gaming (like me) curved screen is best though for some work/productivity uses (like my artist gf) flat is better. I swear by ultrawides, the only devil being in the details. The size also allows for sitting back comfy more, even at a desk.

it's better than that old stalwart 1070 was doing at 1080p two years ago with legs to last a bit. Still, as a mainly single player non competitive gamer, 90-100 fps in most AAA games ultra and before tweaking. Only difference is mine's 144Hz, little loss as you can't rely on upscalers to be supported in too many games yet. Coming from the lower ultrawide, 2560x1080 (which fit a 1070 nicely by the time Turing was around) I finally reached 3440x1440 greatness last year with a 6800XT. The number+k is there to designate what 'HD' it is capable of.Ĭouldn't agree more. 3840 x 2160 was designated 4k because its actually better picture than true 4k, as true 4k is distorted too much on picture clarity or has to have large black boarders on its display. The same way 3840 x 2160 is not '4k' but is considered to be 4k so that actually makes it 4k. Width is not why something is called its respective number+kĭid you know 3840 x 2160 has FOUR times the pixels of a standard 1080p panel?ĭid you know the difference in clarity between 2560 x 14x1440 is minorĪnd the difference in clarity between 2560 x 14 x 2160 is MASSIVE. Thats because you do not understand why the resolution is given its designation.
